Udonis Haslem Returns to Heat

The Miami Heat have announced that Udonis Haslem is returning back to their roster after having signed a 1 year $2.6 million dollar deal. Haslem, a long tenured player for the Heat and a three-time NBA Champion for the franchise returns for his 17th season. For Haslem, returning back to the Heat is a matter of loyalty and a testament to his legacy of being a part of the storied franchise and its well known culture.

Haslem joins the likes of Tim Duncan, John Stockton, Reggie Miller, John Havlicek (pronounced Hav-le-chek), Manu Ginobili, Kobe Bryant, and Dirk Nowitzki (pronounced No-witz-ski) as players who have only played for one team during the course of their career. With the 2019-20 season two months away, Haslem looks to serve as the team’s mentor and captain, and if need be, come off the bench and turn the game around for Miami.
