Best Houston Rockets Twitter Accounts To Follow

Finally, basketball season is right around the corner my fellow basketball maniacs. With training camp starting for the Houston Rockets, this team  could very well go all the way this season; after a very promising season last season that ended in a Western Conference Finals appearance for the first time since the 1990s. This Rockets team is led by MVP candidate James Harden and former three-time Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard, and brought in Ty Lawson as their new point-guard and Marcus Thornton as another instant offensive threat. With all the additions Houston has made, the Rockets are in pursuit of their third championship. Here are some of the best Twitter accounts “Red Nation” has to offer:

Houston Rockets – @HoustonRockets

This is the official account of the Houston Rockets. For any Rocket fan, this is a must follow for news, information, tickets, TV schedule, or really any interest in the team at all. The Rockets’ Twitter page also has interviews with coaches, players, and other members of the organization.

House Of Houston – @HouseOfHouston

House of Houston is a FanSided site that covers everything Houston sports, which includes the Rockets, Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. One of the editors is a New Yorker with a Houstonian state of mind, while the other is a born and bred Houstonian. House of Houston provides articles on all Houston sports, with a fan’s perspective to it, which means there is a TAD bit of emotion in those articles. You might see an article whose writer’s name might look familiar.

ClutchFans – @clutchfans

Clutchfans has been a forum for Rockets super fans since 1996. ClutchFans feature game analysis, highlights, interviews with players, and more. The thing that sets ClutchFans apart from everybody else is the fan forums, which divulge in every topic. During the games, Rockets fans from all over the globe watch seemingly as one big family. They laugh together; they cry together. Some are fans since the Tracy McGrady days. Some are fans since the Hakeem OlajuwonRalph Sampson “Twin Towers” days. One thing they have in common is their love for the Houston Rockets.

RedNinetyFour – @RedNinetyFour

Red94 is the Rockets’ affiliate by ESPN.com. Its founder, Rahat Huq founded it in October of 2009. It then got inducted into ESPN’s TrueHoop Network a few months later in December. He now serves as editor-in-chief. Red94 have multiple writers contribute great articles, as well as analysis and game recaps. Red94’s Twitter page has nearly 7,000 followers.

Jonathan Feigen – @Jonathan_Feige

Jonathan Feigen is the beat writer for the Houston Rockets for the Houston Chronicle. On his Twitter page, Feigen shares his thoughts and news on the Houston Rockets. He has 30,900 followers on Twitter. His style is more structured and more formal, unlike the ones previously mentioned. Nonetheless, Jonathan Feigen is very knowledgable and gets up-to-date information swiftly.

Tristan Taylor – @The_Tristan104

Last, but certainly not least, follow yours truly on Twitter. I am a sports aficionado, as well as an enthusiast for other things as well. When basketball season starts, I assure you, you will be thoroughly entertained. Some things you may see include memes, YouTube videos, articles that I write, and my own pure unadulterated, uncensored commentary. You have been warned. Happy following, people!
