Aaron Gordon Suffers Fractured Jaw “Horse-Playing” With Brother

According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon suffered a fractured jaw “horsing around” with his older brother, Drew Gordon, who also plays in the NBA.

From the Sentinel:

“Glass said Gordon suffered the jaw injury when Gordon was visiting his family and was horsing around with his older brother, Drew, who appeared in nine games last season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The timetable for Aaron Gordon’s return to basketball-related activities will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation, Glass said.”

Gordon underwent surgery on Tuesday to address the injury and is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season.

Gordon was impressive this month in the Orlando Pro Summer League. He averaged 21.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 50 percent from three-point range.
