Report: Magic hire Adrian Griffin as their lead assistant coach

According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, the Orlando Magic has hired Adrian Griffin to become a part of new head coach Scott Skiles coaching staff.

 “The Orlando Magic have reached an agreement with Adrian Griffin to become their new lead assistant coach, the Orlando Sentinel has learned. 

The addition of Griffin is the first hire for Scott Skiles’ coaching staff.”

Griffin spent the last five seasons as a Chicago Bulls assistant coach and previously worked for the Milwaukee Bucks under Skiles as an assistant coach for player development.

He also spent the summer of 2014 working with USA Basketball’s men’s national team as they won the gold medal in the FIBA World Cup.
